A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR PLAYGROUP
Stone with Woodford Playgroup is an Ofsted registered setting that was established for over 50 years. We are a committee ran, registered charity who has helped nurture and provide a stimulating and educational environment for hundreds of children throughout our existence. We strive to provide excellent childcare to all children aged 2-4 years old.
​We have 3 dedicated staff who work throughout the week to help children learn through play and have fun at playgroup. The room is set up differently each week to give variety and to ensure children get every opportunity to develop their skills. We provide free flow sessions where children can choose what and where (inside or outside) they would like to play with throughout the session.​
Stone with Woodford Playgroup has strong links with the local primary school, Stone with Woodford C of E School. We regularly take our pre-school children to visit the school to help introduce them to the school setting and help ease their transition from pre school to primary school. ​
Our fun and educational childcare setting is located just of the M5 Junction 14 in the village of Stone.
