Stone with Woodford Playgroup
A warm and caring environment where children feel safe, secure and have fun by learning through play which was rated GOOD by OFSTED in 2022.
How We Are Run
The setting is run by a parent voluntary management committee. The committee is made up of three main officers: Chair, Secretary and treasurer and up to nine other parents. Meetings are generally held every term and only committee members voted in at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) need to attend.

The playgroup is registered with The Office of Standards of Education (OFSTED)
​
The playgroup is also a registered member of PATA who regularly provide us with any support and training that we require.
​
The playgroup is a registered provider so can accept the various Nursery Education Funding schemes including the working parent schemes for eligible parents. For those children not eligible for funding or the hours not covered by funding parents will be invoiced termly.

Parents are actively encouraged to take part in sessions which help to build close working relationships and good communication links between parents and playgroup staff. It also gives parents a good opportunity to see what a session is like at playgroup.

Fundraising
Fundraising is such an important part of our activities here at playgroup. We encourage as much support with this as possible and fundraising ideas are always welcomed!
