Meet our Staff
Here at Stone with Woodford playgroup, we have three dedicated staff members and occasional volunteers who work throughout the week. The staff are supported by the voluntary management committee.

Playgroup Manger
Laura Plimbley
My name is Laura and I am the Lead practitioner here at Stone with Woodford Playgroup.
I have worked here for over 15 years and I hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare as well as other relevant qualifications including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Level 3, Food Hygiene and Safety and Prevent Duty.
I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead and a Key worker ​​

Dawn Bramley
My name is Dawn and I am Laura's deputy. I am also the settings administrator.
I have been involved with the playgroup for over 20 years, starting as the committee secretary and then Chair. I have a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification, Paediatric First Aid, Level 3 Safeguarding, Food Hygiene & Safety and PREVENT training.
I am a Key Worker and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Rachel Gibbons
My name is Rachel and I joined playgroup at the end of February 2023. I have 10+ years mothering experience and work locally in a day nursery. My qualifications include Safeguarding and child protection and First Aid.
My Hobbies include keeping fit, Walking and swimming and I enjoy baking and cooking.
