Stone with Woodford Playgroup
A warm and caring environment where children feel safe, secure and have fun by learning through play which was rated GOOD by OFSTED in 2022.
School Visits
Throughout the academic year, we have the opportunity to visit Stone with Woodford primary school during our Friday session.
These visits are a great way for the children to become familiar with the school environment and will help ease transition into their reception class at their primary school in September.
We walk the children up to the school after having an early snack at the playgroup. The children carry their lunch to the school (with help if needed) and walk back to playgroup after lunch and playtime at the school.
The children love these visits and make lots of new friends at the school. They get the chance to play with the reception teacher, assistants and reception children.
When the dates for the current academic year have been arranged with the school they can be found on the termly Parent Newsletter or Noticeboard. Please be aware that we have to fit in with the school and the majority of the dates will be in the summer term.
